Babiekins Magazine: in Stores October 9th!

It’s alllllmost here…the very first print issue of Babiekins Magazine!

The issues are en route from the warehouses as I type this, and will be sold in every single Barnes & Noble store in the US, beginning Tuesday, October 9th.

In the US, you can also check Books-A-Million and Stater Bros. If you’re in the UK, copies are available online at Lapin & Me; in Brasil, Supersoniko, and in France, D’Arthur à Zoé.

I’m particularly thrilled about a little piece I wrote on my childhood in the former Yugoslavia, and about some photographs the wildy talented Deb Schwedhelm shot of Aveline and I. (I’ve had to keep that a secret since April.)

There’s lots more, of course; each page is bursting with fresh content from dozens of incredibly talented people. (And did I mention how proud I am of our Editor-in-Chief for including a verse in her Editor’s Note?) Oh, I can’t wait for you to see it!

Babiekins Magazine, Little Style

WRITING & WORDS :: I’m back from vacation with a story in the Summer Issue of Babiekins Magazine, and more!

We enjoyed a few glorious weeks in the California sunshine with our incredible family. I love them so and it certainly was hard to leave them all behind again (but wonderful to be back with Josiah!)

I want to give a huge shout-out to all the bloggers who filled this space while I was gone! The Summer Vacation Tour was very well received and I plan to continue to feature locations from time to time as I receive submissions. Annnnnd….I’ve saved the best for last. :-D The summer issue of Babiekins Magazine was just released a couple of days ago, and I’m thrilled to say that not only have I joined the editorial team as Copy Editor…I’ve also written a little something about my childhood adventures! I’m still giddy over seeing my work illustrated by the talented Gigi Rose Gray.
