We recently starting getting Dwell magazine, and I’ve so been enjoying the creativity and design in each issue. Can you believe these two photos are of the same house in Adelaide, Australia? The back is unapologetically modern, and the front is an 1880’s bungalow! So clever.

i love both sides! the detail in the front is so pretty, and the modern back so cool. i just don’t know about how visible the bedroom is from the outside… but i’m pretty sure they’ve got some kind of way to get privacy… :) it would be awesome to have as much sunlight in the house as they’ve got!
