Wow, Gina, you were quite the color contrast. When we were in Mexico once, we saw a tow headed American baby that the locals thought would be “magic” if they held her. Did your parents run into anything like that with you? I love the header photo, too.
They definitely did! In fact, the story behind the header photo is just that! The woman pictured was NOT going to give me back. She said she was going to keep me…for luck or something. The way my parents tell the story, mom panicked and believed the lady, and dad took a picture of the situation. =)
That story is precious. The look on your face is definitely saying, “Mom, take me back!” I got to talk to your sweet birthday Momma today. It was a highlight.
